This is what customers say about myhost
Reliable, affordable, with professional support.
I took the cheapest plan and I'm very satisfied. I received my login details very quickly and could start on my website. The domain name was registered very fast too. My site has been running for a while now with no downtime yet, and it's nice and fast as well.
Patty
I've been a customer of my.host since 2022. I'm 100% satisfied with this hosting for my website (business). This hosting has everything: WordPress support, a low price when you need a website, 24/7 support and a really good, handy control interface. Thank you very much for this hosting.
Vera
I couldn't restore a backup file because of an error. I reported it to the helpdesk and the problem was resolved within a short time. That's what you want: no discussion about what is or isn't feasible or being put on a waiting list. Just getting it sorted!
Frans
Switching was so easy! I was dreading it, but it all went smoothly. Perfect! The only downside I can think of is that the settings page looks different and uses somewhat different terms than my previous provider. And really that's not even a downside, because it's clearer now.
Robert
We took a new hosting plan for our association with my.host. We got quick answers, and they did everything they could to get our website up and running fast and to migrate our email. Really great service, for which we're grateful!
René
Moved all our hosting plans to my.host. Because: good and clear service, being taken care of, transparency in pricing. What a difference compared to other providers.
Harm
I already have quite a bit of experience with hosting companies and it wasn't always pleasant. Think of availability, the speed of (not) responding, knowledge, etc. As a customer of Mijn Host I've experienced that it can be different. They respond quickly and expertly whenever I have a question. And they go that extra mile. Contact goes via email, which works really nicely thanks to the fast response. Recommended!
Leo
Bought a domain and set up a simple website and email in a few minutes.
Bram
How easy it is to set up a new site.
With my.host you're in great hands: good help and a clear process.

After being with the same hosting provider for years, it was time to switch. The old provider's prices kept rising while the service got worse. I was somewhat dreading it since I had never migrated before. But my.host's customer service helped me fantastically with this and took the entire migration off my hands. On top of that, the my.host platform looks great and everything works fast and smoothly, just as it should.

Do you have a domain somewhere else and want to transfer it to my.host? You need a transfer code or authorization code from your current provider. For some domains you also need to turn off the domain lock.

When you've just ordered a domain name or hosting, you naturally want to get started right away. A domain name is registered immediately after your order. In most cases your domain name is actually active within a few hours. For some extensions it can take a little longer, 24 to 48 hours.
Read the full articleWhat is a premium domain name?
A premium domain name is a domain name that is worth considerably more than a non-generic domain name. That's why it's called Premium. Premium domain names come in two variants:
- Domain names from older extensions with a very good generic name, such as auto.nl or candy.com, that have been registered for many years. Because these domain names have already built up a lot of 'value' and are very generic, they're worth much more money in a sale than a non-generic domain name.
- New gTLD domain names, involving a very generic name or company name that isn't registered yet but is expected to gain a lot of value. The registration price of these domain names can run up to several thousand euros. Examples of such premium domain names are gold.watch or healthy.club.
Register a domain name.
A domain name is the web address you see in the browser. You reach a website by entering a domain name in the browser, so it's important to choose a good domain name. It immediately makes clear what you have to offer, so choose a fitting and catchy domain name for your website.
