Today we take a big step: our English-language website is live on its own domain, my.host. This makes our website accessible to a larger audience. With this, we officially open our doors to customers outside the Netherlands and begin our expansion into Europe.
Why this step?
In recent years, we have grown to become one of the best-rated hosting providers in the Netherlands. We owe this growth to a simple formula: fast hosting, fair prices, and a helpdesk that truly helps. More and more, we were asked if our services were available in English as well.
Additionally, we see a clear shift throughout Europe. Companies and organizations are looking more critically at where their data is located and under which legislation their hosting provider falls. The demand for reliable, European hosting is growing rapidly. As an independent provider, with all data safely within Europe and without a foreign parent company, we are the answer to that. We now want to offer that quality outside the Netherlands as well.
From today, you can: on my.host, you’ll find our full range of domain names, web hosting, WordPress hosting, VPSs, dedicated servers, and email. Fully in English, including English control panel and support.
Nothing changes for Dutch customers
For Dutch customers nothing changes at all. mijn.host remains mijn.host. Your website, email, domain names, and settings remain exactly as they are. Your data also remains stored exclusively in the Netherlands. You log in to the same control panel, you pay the same rates, and you get the same service from the same team.
Moreover, our growth benefits you. More scale means that we can invest even more in faster hardware, new features, and the best security, precisely from which you as a customer benefit.
Coming soon: multiple server locations to choose from
Our expansion in Europe is more than a translated website. We are working hard behind the scenes to expand our infrastructure. Soon we will offer multiple server locations, allowing you to choose where your service runs when ordering.
That means:
- Lower load times for your visitors, wherever they are located. Are you targeting an international audience? Then you can simply choose the location closest to your visitors.
- You determine where your data is located. Do you want everything to remain in the Netherlands? Then that remains possible, nothing changes automatically.
- The same fast hardware at every location, with the quality you expect from us.
- The new locations will be exclusively within Europe

Direct registrar in more and more European countries
We are also expanding domain names: in more and more EU countries we are a direct registrar at the national registry, without an intermediary. At SIDN (.nl), DNS Belgium (.be) and Internetstiftelsen (.se & .nu) we already arrange registrations directly and more countries are being added, which results in faster registrations, support, and competitive rates.

While many hosting companies have been taken over by large international players in recent years, we consciously remain completely independent.
