Where do I find my user ID (Bruger-id) with Punktum dk?

Your user ID – "Bruger-id" in Danish – is the code Punktum dk (formerly DK Hostmaster) uses to identify you as a domain owner. It typically looks like this: ABC123-DK. You need it to log in to the self-service portal. For a transfer to my.host, an authorisation code (Auth-ID) is the fastest route – your user ID is an alternative if you do not have a code.

Where to find your user ID

• In the email from Punktum dk. When Punktum dk writes to you about choosing a registrar, your user ID is at the top of the email, just below "Kære" (Dear).
• In the self-service portal. Log in at selvbetjening.punktum.dk with MitID or your email address. Your user ID is shown under your profile.
• In old emails and invoices. Confirmations and invoices from Punktum dk or DK Hostmaster normally include your user ID.

Forgotten it?

You don't need your user ID to log in. The self-service portal also accepts MitID and the email address registered on the domain. Once logged in, you can see your user ID.

What do you need it for?

The user ID is used to log in and to link the transfer to you. If you want to choose my.host, preferably enter your authorisation code on the domain transfer page – then the transfer goes through immediately. If you do not have a code, you can fill in the form with your domain name and user ID. That typically takes 24–48 hours.

Beware of fake emails

Punktum dk never asks for your password or payment details by email. A genuine email contains your user ID and the names of your domains. If in doubt, go directly to selvbetjening.punktum.dk instead of clicking links.
