In a recent independent speed test, my.host was crowned as the fastest web host in the Netherlands. This research, conducted by the independent website Hostingvergelijker.nl, compared the performance of different hosting providers based on speed using various measurement methods.

How was the test conducted?

Hostingvergelijker.nl conducts an independent speed test annually, where the performance of different hosting providers is thoroughly analyzed. They acquire packages from various providers that somewhat match in specifications and monthly price. The testing involves using a WordPress website, which is tested both optimized and non-optimized.

This year, they did it a little differently than previous years. They tried to optimize the WordPress website as best as possible with the available tools at each hosting provider. At our place, one can use tools such as LiteSpeed Cache, Redis Object Cache, and a CDN like Cloudflare or QUIC.cloud, along with additional services such as image optimization.

It is noteworthy that in the tests conducted without the optimization tools described above, my.host also scores very well and is tested as one of the fastest in most measurements (e.g., the TTFB test, load test).

Several tools were used in these tests:

• Pingdom

For each part of the test, a hosting provider could earn 1 to 12 points. Based on the total number of points achieved, a result was made. From these tests, my.host emerged as the fastest web host in the Netherlands.
