Until now you could keep your .dk domain directly with Punktum dk. That option is ending: from 1 July 2026 new .dk domains can only be registered through a registrar, and existing domains must have a registrar by 30 June 2028. my.host is a direct registrar with Punktum dk.

Your domain stays with Punktum dk until the deadline, but after that it cannot remain under direct management. Choose a registrar before 30 June 2028.

No. Punktum dk does not charge a fee for the switch, and transferring to my.host is also free.

No. A .dk domain you have prepaid for several years stays valid for the rest of that period at the price already paid. After that you renew yearly. New multi-year periods are no longer available.

You pick my.host in Self Service and get an AuthID. Paste it in the guide and complete the order; we then start the transfer with Punktum dk. Your website and email keep working in the meantime.

An AuthID (authorisation code) is a code from Punktum dk Self Service. It lets a registrar take over the management. The code is valid for 14 days. If you do not use it, log in again and create a new one. Paste the code in the guide: we then put your domain in the cart so you can complete the free transfer right away.

Repeat the steps for each domain. In Self Service you switch each domain to registrar management. If you get stuck, send a help request per domain; our support team can help if you have many.

No. Only domain administration moves. Your website and email stay where they are unless you choose to move them.

Log in at self-service.punktum.dk with MitID, email or your user ID. The user ID is at the top of the email from Punktum dk, and you can also see it after logging in. You do not need to give us the user ID.

Some domains cannot switch yet, for example because of an unpaid invoice or a lock in bankruptcy, liquidation, a merger or an estate. Punktum dk shows the reason on screen. If you are stuck, contact Punktum dk or our support team.
