Tested as the Fastest Web Host of 2022

We can officially call ourselves the fastest web host in the Netherlands! 🎉 

my.host is tested as the fastest web host in the Web Hosting Speed Test 2022, conducted by Webhosters.nl. This speed test, in which 14 providers were extensively tested, was conducted independently and fully transparently.

How was the test conducted?

The WordPress Web Hosting Speed Test was conducted by signing up for various hosting packages with web hosts suitable for WordPress, and the packages could cost a maximum of €10,- per month in the test. A standard WordPress installation was set up with the Divi theme and some plugins. The speed of the website was measured before and after optimization with Webpagetest, PageSpeed Insights, and k6.io.

For the speed test, webpagetest.org was used, and for the PageSpeed Insights test, the front page and the page with the posts of each website were tested. The load test was conducted with the k6 software. The results were divided into the fastest time, slowest time, and the p95 score.

How was the evaluation determined?

The test shows that various hosting providers perform well. However, my.host, Antagonist, WebOke, Siteground, and Hostinger stand out in the speed test with a full-page load time of the first request under a second. At the TTFB, among others, my.host, Hostinger, Antagonist, and SiteGround perform very well. In the load test, my.host and Siteground score well with load times under a second.

In short, this is based on the weighted average of TTFB, Load time, PageSpeed Insights, and the k6 load test. This is based on consistently good figures and performance under pressure, while my.host uses the latest version of DirectAdmin.
