Optimizing your database in phpMyAdmin

It may be that your database is too large or very slow, what you can do then is optimize the database. Once you optimize the database, all data is sorted again and will therefore work more efficiently. You can read how to do this in this knowledgebase article.

Step 1

Log in to phpMyAdmin, don't know how? https://mijn.host/kb/hoe-kan-ik-inloggen-in-phpmyadmin/ 

Step 2

Click on database at the top of the screen and select the database you want to optimize.

Step 3

Select all tables and select Optimize Table from the dropdown.

Your database is now optimized.
