Installing Joomla via Softaculous

Installing Joomla is easy via Softaculous. Softaculous is a tool available via DirectAdmin. In this guide, we explain how to install Joomla.

Step 1: Go to DirectAdmin

Step 2: Search for Softaculous install

Once you are logged into DirectAdmin, click on “Softaculous installer”. This can be found under “Advanced features”.

Step 3: Install Joomla

Under “Top scripts” you now have the option to install Joomla. Click on “Install” here.

Step 4: Complete installation settings

As a final step, the details can be filled in to start the installation. It is important that the correct domain is selected here. The administrator details are also important to add here.

The installation will now start. Have fun with the website!
