How to change the DirectAdmin password?

After purchasing a web hosting, WordPress hosting, or reseller hosting package at mijn.host, you will receive an email after your order with the login details for the DirectAdmin hosting control panel. This contains the username and a system-generated password. In this article, we explain how you can change the password of your DirectAdmin account.

Note! When setting a new password, it is important to use a strong password with, for example, a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and/or symbols. It is also recommended to use a unique password that you do not use for other services. A strong and unique password prevents your password from being easily guessed.

Changing the DirectAdmin password for web hosting, WordPress hosting, or the reseller main account:

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin. (You can read how to log in in the article 'How do I log in to DirectAdmin'.)
