Does mijn.host have an inode limit?

No inode limit

We do not apply inode limits to our hosting packages. This is set to unlimited by default.

What are inodes?

Simply put, one file on the disk of your hosting account is the same as one inode. This applies to all files. If an email arrives in your hosting account, this is one inode. If this email also has an attachment, then that is a second inode. With a WordPress installation, approximately 2000 inodes are created.

Inodes therefore represent the number of files and not the size of the files. So there is a big difference between inodes and storage. If your hosting storage is 5GB and you have 5 files of 1GB, your storage is full. In that case, you have only used 5 inodes, but the size of the files is so large that your storage is full.

Many hosting providers do work with an inode limit, but mijn.host does not.
