Add your own whitelabel name servers

Are you a reseller and do you want to set up your own whitelabel name servers for your customers? In this knowledge base article, you will read how to do this. If your domain is hosted externally, you need to perform steps 1 through 3 externally. 

If you have activated our Whitelabel package, you must use different details. For this, go to this article: Whitelabel package and Custom Name Servers

To start, enter the domain name you are going to use for the whitelabel name servers in the field below:

Domain name:

Step 1

Log in to our Control Panel via mijn.host/cp.

Step 2

Create the following NS records for your domain name in our Control Panel, click on + Add new record. 

Step 3

Create the following two A records for IPv4 (optionally you can also create ns3):

ns1.domein.nl to 5.254.117.200
ns2.domein.nl to 45.140.188.195
ns3.domein.nl to 83.96.241.95

Did you not fill in the field at the top? Then replace [domein.nl] with your own domain.

Create the following two AAAA records for IPv6 (optionally you can also create ns3):

ns1.domein.nl to 2a03:5180:7:2:13af:27fb:f741:1
ns2.domein.nl to 2a0b:64c0:1::b0
ns3.domein.nl to 2a02:348:5e6:1::b6a0

Did you not fill in the field at the top? Then replace [domein.nl] with your own domain.
Create name server

Also don't forget to click on save

Step 4

Next, log in to DirectAdmin as a reseller, then go to server manager and name servers:

Now add the two name servers here, in this case they are:

ns1.domein.nl
ns2.domein.nl

Did you not fill in the field at the top? Make sure to change [domein.nl] to your own domain.

Your whitelabel name servers are now created. To set them up for a domain, you just need to apply them to your chosen domain. You can do this using this guide for changing name servers.
