Enable and manage Premium Spam Filter for your domain

Because we believe a good spam filter should be standard, we now offer the premium spam filter for free with all hosting packages.

In this article, we explain how to enable the new spam filter and how to navigate to the management environment so you can see which emails are in the quarantine folder.

To do this, log in to your hosting package in DirectAdmin. (How do I log in to DirectAdmin)

Next, click on "Extra Programs" or “Extra Features” in the menu.

Then click on "Premium Spamfilter"

You will see a screen with your domain(s); here you can check the status and log in to the filter to manage settings.

Click on check status. If the system says No, it is not turned on. You can enable it by clicking the Login link. This will activate the filter and redirect you to a separate environment where you can manage the spam filter.

If the system says Yes, it is already enabled. Click on the login link and you will be redirected to a separate environment where you can manage the spam filter.

From this system, you can also view which emails are in quarantine and, if necessary, have the relevant emails forwarded to your inbox.

More info about our SpamFilter

The SpamExperts spam filter service is intended for everyone who wants to receive as little spam as possible. However, this spam filter offers more: phishing emails and emails with malware and viruses are also filtered. This means it not only ensures less spam in your email account but also protects you against other threats that can arrive via email.

Because we prefer to keep everything in our network under our own control, and because we want to provide the best possible service to our customers, we use a local cloud solution via SpamExperts. This means the software is installed on our own servers, allowing us to manage and fine-tune everything ourselves.

We are not dependent on an external party and the servers are located in the Netherlands, so this is also covered from an AVG/GDPR perspective.

The servers are redundant, so you can be sure that the filtering does its job.
