Add an email account in Microsoft Outlook for Windows

If you have web hosting with mijn.host and you have already created an email account, you can add this created email account in Microsoft Outlook for Windows. You can therefore use this guide if you have Microsoft Outlook installed on a Windows device.

1. Open the Microsoft Outlook application. Navigate to the main menu, and click on the File menu item.

1. On this page, click the '+ Add Account' button.

1. A pop-up will now appear. Enter your email address here and then click the 'Connect' button.

1. You will now get options for the advanced setup (if necessary). Click on 'IMAP' here if you want to synchronize the emails with the server. In this example we use 'IMAP' because this is the most convenient way to retrieve email. This way you can easily use it on multiple devices.

1. You will now arrive at the screen for the server settings. Enter the settings below here. The image below is for reference, follow the instructions in the table below for the correct settings.

1. Then click on the 'Next' button. After this, you enter your password. Then click on 'Connect' and your email account has been added to Outlook.
