With the Whitelabel package, you can ensure that it is not visible to the outside world that your domain name is registered with mijn.host. In the WHOIS database, the name mijn.host will not be shown for your domain name, but a different generic name. We can technically do this by using our second registrar account, which is registered under a generic name. We also have separate NameServers under a generic name, which will then be activated for your domain name.
Every customer at mijn.host can purchase the Whitelabel package. The costs for this are € 4.99 per month.
Free for resellers
We offer the Whitelabel package for free if you own the Reseller Enterprise or Reseller Premium package. If you have another Reseller package, or do not have a Reseller package at all, you can purchase this service separately. Read more about activating the service below.
How do I activate the Whitelabel package for my account?
To activate the Whitelabel package, you must already own a domain name. You can then activate the Whitelabel package directly via our control panel.
When you are logged into our control panel, navigate to Domain names and click on any domain name in your account.
At the bottom of the page is the heading Domain additions. Here you will find the Whitelabel package option. Click on Add.
The Whitelabel package will be added to the shopping cart. Complete your order and the Whitelabel package will be activated within a few minutes.
When the Whitelabel package is active, the Whitelabel service is not immediately activated for all your domain names. Read below how you can activate this per domain name.
How do I activate the Whitelabel service for a domain name?
You can easily activate the Whitelabel service for a domain name via our control panel. Ensure that you already have the Whitelabel package.
When you are logged into our control panel, navigate to Domain names and click on the domain name for which you want to activate the Whitelabel service.
At the top of the page, you will find a badge that allows you to see the status of a domain name. If this badge is colored orange, it means the Whitelabel service has not yet been activated for this domain name, as shown in the image below:
When you see this orange badge as shown in the example above, you can directly activate the Whitelabel service by clicking on this badge. A pop-up will appear asking if you want to activate this. When you confirm this, your domain name is immediately placed on our Whitelabel service.
The Whitelabel service is now activated for your domain name and you will see a green badge at the top:In the WHOIS, no data pointing to mijn.host is visible anymore.
Points to keep in mind
The Whitelabel service does not affect your own information in the WHOIS, so the domain profiles remain as they are. Therefore, this service is also not a WHOIS privacy service.
