At my.host, we have an exciting update to share: we are now officially a DNS Belgium registrar! You may have noticed that earlier this year we became a SIDN registrar<\/a>. This update was very well received by our customers, prompting us to expand further, now with DNS Belgium. What does this mean for you as a customer? And how can you benefit from it immediately? Let’s explain the advantages and provide a brief introduction to DNS Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is DNS Belgium?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

DNS Belgium<\/a> is the organization responsible for managing .be domain names. They ensure that .be domains are reliably and securely registered and managed. Additionally, DNS Belgium actively works towards climate goals<\/a>, which we, as a green hosting provider, are happy to support. As a registrar, we are now directly connected to DNS Belgium, granting us access to a wide range of benefits that we are eager to share with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can also better support you with questions about .be domains. There’s no intermediary where we have to wait for a response. Our team can act faster thanks to our direct access to DNS Belgium’s resources and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support for Reseller Profiles<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For .be domains, it’s been possible for a while<\/a> to display yourself as a reseller in the WHOIS database. However, few registrars have used this feature, and it was not possible with us until now. We have now chosen to integrate this feature into our system directly in collaboration with DNS Belgium. And this is now available for all resellers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your company name and website will be displayed in the public WHOIS database. This gives a more professional appearance for resellers, and they are seen as trustworthy partners. Of course, this option can be enabled optionally per domain name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
